Dream&Charme is strengthening its training division by strategically restructuring the Dream&Charme Academy to meet the growing demand from hotels, resorts, and restaurants. The Academy is being relaunched with a targeted investment aimed at expanding its programs and educational offering, with the objective of delivering practical, immediately applicable skills to hospitality businesses of all levels.
Enrico Plateo has been appointed to lead the business unit. He has selected and engaged leading ESG experts in the hospitality and F&B sectors as faculty members. The goal is to integrate ESG standards into daily operations, transforming sustainability into measurable and lasting value.
Enrico Plateo has gained experience in leading multinational technology companies, focusing on business development and innovation strategy. He brings specific technical expertise in sustainability applied to the hospitality sector as a certified DCA ESG and GSTC auditor. His training background stems from developing multicultural corporate teams, his experience as an Executive Coach, and his role as a lecturer at LUISS University and the University of Milano-Bicocca.
Sustainability training is strategic because it is now a decisive factor in market positioning, cost reduction, process optimization, and customer loyalty. Dream&Charme places education at the center of a strategy designed to transform ESG commitments into operational practices that are verifiable and aligned with international standards.
Dream&Charme Academy’s training impacts five fundamental business drivers:
- Management and governance: more streamlined processes aligned with international standards;
- Economic efficiency: waste reduction and resource optimization;
- Marketing and reputation: authentic and certified storytelling;
- Reliability: quality assurance for partners, investors, stakeholders, and consumers;
- Sustainable supply chain.
“Sustainability is the new language of global business,” states Giorgio Caire di Lauzet, CEO of Dream&Charme. “With the Academy, we provide hospitality businesses with the ‘grammar’ to speak it fluently. We do not simply train operators; we develop managers capable of generating economic and asset value through sustainability and reliability, aligning their companies with evolving market trends.”
“Today, competitive advantage inevitably passes through training,” adds Enrico Plateo, Director of Dream&Charme Academy. “We explain how to turn a cost into an investment: managing human and environmental resources responsibly improves the rating of hotels and restaurants and, consequently, their profitability. The Academy enables businesses to move from ‘forecasting’ to ‘planning,’ delivering tangible results both in financial performance and customer perception.”
The training offering, customizable according to the specific needs of each property, covers three main areas:
- Trend updates;
- Operations & Green Management, techniques to reduce environmental impact while improving margins;
- Communication and Branding, how to leverage certification within the marketing mix.
